Retro AM

Ha! I thought we were to apply the theme to Spike! Oh well! It was fun to sketch this up anyway!

I took a lot of inspiration from the early Mickey Mouse cartoons and retro Disney memorabilia, as well as some of that 70's retro style for the font. I figured I'd make it like an old postcard or collector's image for AM if it were around back then. Kinda like finding an old Disneyland postcard now and getting that nostalgia feeling that comes with that cool retro style.

Retro-"This is Bob Barker, reminding you to help control the pet population..."

There aren't many things more retro to me than The Price is Right.  It was always a dream of mine to go on the show and meet Bob, and maybe play some Plinko.  Unfortunately that dream will never be....

At first, I wasn't sure what to do but then I remembered: I just made this Terra sprite not too long ago out of perler beads. I need more of those so I can make the whole set.

Can't go wrong with classic Zelda! Always wanted the old Gleeoks to reappear in a full 3D game too. Maybe in Skyward Sword... fingers crossed.
